SIMULATION EXERCISE SHOCKWAVE

July 22, 1997 - A Disaster Plan for the Water and Sewerage Authority is one of the recommendations coming from the just concluded simulation exercise dubbed SHOCKWAVE. This was the view of the deputy chairman of the national emergency management organization, Anthony Severin.

Another recommendation coming from the simulation exercise was the need to get the electronic media more involved in disaster preparedness activities.

The simulation exercise was held at the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and at all the 12 Local Disaster Officers Island-wide.
