October 13, 1997 - The St. Lucia National Trust is being encouraged to find new ways and means to finance its own functioning, using its assets to sustain its existence.

That's the word from Prime Minister the Hon Dr. Kenny Anthony, as he delivered the feature address at the Trust's Annual General Meeting last week.

Meantime, outgoing Chairman of the Trust, Monsignor Patrick Anthony, has called for membership to be made the focal point of the organization.

Monsignor Anthony spoke of a shift in the trust operations making it more member friendly.
