The St. Lucia tourist board earlier this week held discussions with all its advertising
and public relations representatives overseas. This meeting received and reviewed new
advertising concepts and material for St. Lucia's overseas promotions.
St. Lucia tourist board's newly appointed advertising agency in the United States Pringle,
Dixon and Pringle (PDP) made a presentation to the meeting highlighting new creative
material for advertising for niche markets such as weddings and honeymoons, soft
adventure, eco-tourism, family, diving, special events, incentives and yachting.
PDPs presentation was based on research the company carried out on St. Lucia's
position in the market since they were retained by the St. Lucia tourist board earlier
this year.
The meeting addressed the island's performance in all of the major tourism markets,
including the US, the UK, Canada, France and Germany. The objective of the meeting was to
devise a more coordinated approach to the board's advertising in all the major markets. |
