Taiwan-Saint Lucia Trade Exhibition opens on October 7 |

Thursday 29 September 2011 – The Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in Saint Lucia in collaboration with the Ministry of Trade, Industry, Commerce, Consumer Affairs and Investment will be hosting the 2011 Taiwan-Saint Lucia Partnership Trade Exhibition at the 5th Floor, Baywalk Shopping Mall, Rodney Bay, Gros Islet from 7th to 9th October this year.
The main purposes of this Exhibition are firstly to introduce and demonstrate the Taiwanese high-end ICT as well as premium food products, to the Saint Lucian and the Caribbean market as a whole; secondly, to exhibit Saint Lucia’s best quality products for export; thirdly, create a functional platform and direct opportunity for the Saint Lucian and the Caribbean entrepreneurs to build up their direct connections for doing business among traders and manufacturers in the Caribbean region and their Taiwanese counterparts; fourthly, to provide an opportunity for the St. Lucian students to appreciate those cutting-edge technologies and their applications to enlarge the spectra for future career development; and lastly, to further enhance the already comprehensive and cordial relationship between Saint Lucia and the R.O.C. (Taiwan).
The Exhibition includes: v Tablet Computers, HTC Smart Phones, memory devices, MP3/MP4/MP5 Players, and Electronic Accessories v Premium Food Products, such as prepared food, preserved fruit and vegetables, drink, quality rice, snacks, sea foods, meat products, etc. v Electronic Game Design Centre, Amusement and Game Machines v LED Sign Accessories and LED Writing Board v Band and Lace Crochet Machine, Cord Knitting Machine and Net Bandage Knitting Machine v Building Material Pipe and Fitting Valves
The opening hours for the exhibition are as follows:
Friday, 7th October 10:00 – 20:00 Saturday, 8th October 09:00 – 20:00 Sunday, 9th October 09:00 – 16:00
