MP for Gros-Islet unveils plans for human resource centre |

Monday 26 September 2011 – Member of Parliament for Gros-Islet the Honorable Lennard Montoute, this past weekend, took the opportunity to update his constituents on government's community development plans for the area
The MP cited three major projects: the Gros-Islet Human Resource Development Center, the Gros-Islet Pre-School, and the Gros-Islet market.
“Today, as we begin the commencement of our human resource centre, as we turn the sod to mark the commencement of this project which is worthy of remarkable commendation, I want to begin by indicating that this journey has been a very long one to take us to this point, because it is two years in the making to take us to this juncture. You may wonder why it took so long, it is because they was a lot of planning and consultation that went into the process.”
The Gros-Islet Human Resource Center will boast of a theatre and two conference rooms, and is expected to initiate several other benefits for the community. |
