Monday, September 05, 2011 – The Government of Saint Lucia through the Ministry of Education wishes to assure all Parliamentarians who had made submissions for assistance to constituents under the Education Access Fund, that all outstanding requests will be processed within the first week of school.
The Ministry has been inundated by the volume of request received particularly from members of the general public. Staff of the Ministry is currently working assiduously to ensure that request from all those who met the stipulated deadline will be processed as promised, earlier, within the first week of school, September 5th, to 9th, 2011.
The programme was implemented this year at an estimated cost of EC $750. 000. |
