Monday 7 February 2011 – The public is informed that Senator the Honourable Gaspard Charlemagne has been appointed to act as Minister of Agriculture, Lands, Fisheries and Forestry for the period, February 1st, 2011 to March 31st, 2011. The appointed was made by Governor General Dame Pearlette Louisy pursuant to Section 62 of the Constitution of Saint Lucia, and in accordance with the advice of the Prime Minister.
The appointment was made on account of the absence of the Minister on vacation leave. Hon. Ezechiel Joseph will resume full responsibility for the portfolios of Agriculture, Lands, Fisheries and Forestry on his return from leave.
