Republic of Korea to assist Saint Lucia in the aftermath of Hurricane Tomas

Friday 17 December 2010 – The Government of the Republic of Korea has decided to assist the Government of Saint Lucia in its relief and recovery efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Tomas which ravaged the island on October 30-31, 2010.
In that regard, the Government of the Republic of Korea will make a donation of the following relief items:
Ø Aquatabs Ø Hand Sanitizers Ø Hygenic Soap
The Government of the Republic of Korea will also donate a quantity of laptops computers for use within the education system in Saint Lucia.
A handing-over ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday December 22, 2010 at the Ministry of External Affairs, International Trade and Investment, Level 5, Bay walk Mall, Rodney Bay, Gros Islet at 2:30 pm. |
