Travel expert conducts webcast from hotel in Saint Lucia

Monday, January 18, 2010 – Travel expert Stephanie Abrams conducted her regular Saturday webcast from the Marigot Bay Hotel – formerly Discovery at Marigot Bay.
The nationally syndicated radio travel shows “Travel with Stephanie Abrams” and “Travellers 411” are based in the US, and are sometimes broadcast in various travel spots around the world.
From a marketing and tourism perspective, Ms. Abrams says, her visit to the island is invaluable as she was able to take her wide audience on a journey of the island.
“My audience is the traveller and my role as I see it, is to present them with destinations and suppliers within the tourism industry, which would be hotels, resorts, car rental companies, modes of transportation—attractions that I believe will allow them to return home enriched, enhanced, inspired and uplifted, and certainly Saint Lucia fits that bill.”
Ms. Abrams, who has been to the island several times before, says she continues to be impressed with the island's tourism product including the Marigot Bay Hotel, where she stayed this time. She says she has posted many stories and interviews about the island's attractions and hospitality on her blog—sabrams.com. |
