Friday, September 04, 2009 – Acting General Manager of the National Development Corporation Timothy Greene says the NDC is committed to continuously enhancing the operations, customer service and general aesthetics at the Duty Free Point Seraphine Shopping Complex.
Mr Greene was speaking at the official launch of the Duty Free Point Seraphine Operations Manual and Marketing Video on Thursday September 3rd, 2009.
He says the Operations Manuel and Marketing Video are designed to ensure that Point Seraphine Shopping Complex remains the port of choice for cruise passengers and the island première duty free shopping complex.
“Understanding that we must continuously adapt and evolve to achieve growth in the cruise industry we have built into the Manuel an efficient process of revision in order to meet the constant challenges, changes and opportunities which confront us. But most importantly the Manuel serves as an effective communications tool for understanding the procedures and rules for operating at the complex,” Greene said.
The Operations Manuel and Marketing Video is a welcomed initiative for the tenants and operators of the shopping complex. Operations Manager for Duty Free Point Seraphine Ena James says the Operations Manuel will revolutionise doing business at the shopping complex.
“The processes outlined in the Manuel are aimed at increasing the efficiency of operations and improving the customer relationships with comprehensive procedures outlined for all operators and tenants at the complex,” James said.
The Duty Free Point Seraphine Operations Manual and Marketing Video are viewed as an added benefit to Point Seraphine in light of increasing demands by cruise passengers and increased competition.
