Saturday, September 5, 2009 – CDC release toolkit for child care
providers to help them prepare -- Following up on its excellent guides for
businesses and higher education, the CDC recently released new Childcare_Toolkit
guidance for child care providers to help them prepare for the upcoming flu
season. Child care providers, both center-based and home-based, are critically
important partners in helping to limit the spread of flu. H1N1 flu
disproportionately impacted young people during the outbreak in the spring. The
expected resurgence of the virus this fall will likely continue this trend. |
