says ever since being established in 2001, the National Skills Development
Centre has provided and invaluable opportunity to many Saint Lucians to receive
training in various Technical and Vocational areas.
Dr Frederick also noted that the NSDC has also served as a solution to the

In delivering the feature address, Talk Show Host and News Paper Publisher Rick
Wayne impressed upon the graduating the importance of perseverance and
dedication in their pursuit for excellence. “Regardless of your current
circumstances if you really want it success can and will be yours trust me. You
have one hundred more opportunities today than were available in my youth, it
does not matter where you are right now or if you don’t have the required
qualification or skills, whatever you need at your age right now you can get it
– the first thing you need to develop is a roaring appetite for success, you
have to be so hungry for success that nothing else matters.”

Pearlette Louisy.
