Tuesday, April 10, 2007 – The clamouring for additional space at the
Odsan Combined School will soon be over due to the construction of an extension
block. Principal of the school Angela Boulogne has welcomed the new addition,
which she describes as “long overdue.” The site where the building is to be
constructed was handed over to the contractor - Total Development Services -
last week.
Managing Director of Total Development Services, Timothy Mangal says he is
pleased to be associated with the project and assured the highest standards of
professionalism. “We take pride in the way that we handle our work and of course
we are scheduled to complete the task within the expected time,” Mangal added.
The project, overseen by the firm Dolcy and Associates Civil and Structural
Engineers, involves the construction of a three storey re-enforced concrete
block, consisting of five classrooms, a staff room, resource room, and an area
for general storage. A six-month time frame has been given for the completion of
the building.
The school has been assured that while most of the construction works will be
undertaken on school days, every effort will be made to minimize interruption of
its program.
