Workshop on Substance Abuse coming

Wednesday, November 17, 2004 - The Substance Abuse Advisory Council Secretariat, in collaboration with the Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission (CICAD) and the Correctional Services of Canada (CSC), will be hosting a workshop entitled, “Effective Substance Abuse Programming for Offenders” from November 22-24, 2004 at the Bay Gardens Inn.

This workshop is intended to expose planners from correctional, health and community based services from different Caribbean Territories, to elements necessary to establish and implement an effective substance abuse programming model for offenders within the various countries.

Individuals from Barbados, Belize, Grenada, Jamaica, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, the Cayman Islands and St. Lucia are expected to participate.
