Friday, February 20, 2004 - The Hon John Howard, Prime Minister of
Australia has congratulated the Government and people of St. Lucia on the
occasion of the island’s 25th Anniversary of Independence.
In a message to Prime Minister, Dr. Kenny D. Anthony, the Australian Prime
Minister said, “On the occasion of the National Day of St. Lucia, I wish to
convey to you, your Government, and people my warmest wishes together with those
of the Australian Government and people. May I express my confidence that the
friendly relations existing between our two countries will continue and prosper
in the coming year. Please accept my personal congratulations and the assurances
of my highest consideration”.
