Wednesday, December 1, 2004 - Fresh from a weekend performance in Soufriere, the Cecilian Rays choral group is eagerly planning for an upcoming music education tour in Trinidad & Tobago. Leader of the group, Mrs. Petronilla Deterville said the Cecilian Rays believe in taking time out to participate in activities that will enrich the personal development of its members.

“On the tenth of December we will travel to Trinidad so that our members can experience a different culture, a different type of music especially during that time of Christmas, we would like them to hear other forms of music, so it’s a kind of educational tour Music education tour so that they will broaden their experiences in music. We will spend one week in Trinidad. During that time we will put on performance to assist the St. Marten’s School in Trinidad,” Mrs. Deterville said.

This Christmas, a single featuring the Cecilian Rays entitled “It’s Christmas time again has been released. The single was first released three years ago on the group’s CD entitled “Chanson St. Lucia” in collaboration with Mr. Llewellyn Gill.
