Thursday, April 29, 2004 - Today St. Lucia will sign a contract
with Thomas Cook Airlines formerly Condor Airlines. The signing ceremony which
will take place at the Ministry of Tourism will cement an agreement for the only
non-stop flight from Germany to St. Lucia. The flight which will come from
Frankfurt will land in St. Lucia and then move on to Venezuela. The weekly
Thomas Cook Airlines charter service will begin in November and run until April.
The Minister of Tourism Hon. Phillip J. Pierre will be present at the signing
ceremony along with Director of Tourism Hilary Modeste and Thomas Cook Airlines
officials Dieter Knöfel and Josef Kohl.
