SLASPA improves website |
Contact: Claudia Monlouis Wednesday, February 19, 2003 - The Saint Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority has upgraded its website to include information about its operations which may prove useful to local and international customers as well as other enquirers. Director of Information Systems at SLASPA, Melchoir Henry said the website was set up in the later part of 2002 and is now fully on stream. “We have informed our customers and associates. We have also informed all of our staff via e-mail that the website is available, and from time to time when we add things to it, we will broadcast this through this organisation. One of the approaches we have taken is that when managers communicate with external customers, they can inform them in their correspondence that the website is available, provide them with the address and tell them what kind of information they can get” said Henry. The Authority’s newsletter “Annual Digest” is now accessible via the website www.slaspa.com. The website will also provide data from 1996 to 2003. The SLASPA official believes that persons accessing the website will find it both comprehensive and user friendly. |
