Castries, Tuesday, February 26, 2002 -- SLTB Marketing Manager Tracey Warner Arnold leaves the island today on a 1-day promotion in Dominica. The promotion focuses on the vital role of the travel agent in promoting travel to our island and will see Warner-Arnold visiting travel agencies and media houses throughout Dominica.

Meanwhile, Assistant Marketing Manager Tanya Warner travels to St. Vincent today to visit with travel agents and members of the press in that island.

The aim of both promotions is to update travel agents and the press on the latest tourism related developments in St. Lucia, all in an effort to increase visitor arrivals. During both promotions, the Tourist Board representatives will be promoting travel to St. Lucia, the island’s natural attractions, its shopping facilities and upcoming events like the 2002 St. Lucia Jazz Festival, Cricket and Carnival. The reps are expected to visit every travel agency and media house in their respective islands.

This is the third leg of the St. Lucia Tourist Board’s regional sales calls, which will continue in Martinique later this week.
