OPSR Assist Corinth Top Business Student to Pursue Studies at Sir Arthur |
Contact: Primus Hutchinson Tuesday, September 17, 2002 - The Government of St. Lucia through the Office of Private Sector Realtions-OPSR is continuing to promote and advance youth development. On Monday, top student of the Corinth Secondary School for this year, Sherlyn Felicien has received financial assistance enabling her to pursue the Associate Degree in Business studies at the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College. This was made possible by the intervention of the Office of Private Sector Relations in the Prime Minister’s office. The OPSR handed Ms. Felicien with two cheques totalling over $1600 which will go towards her tuition at the college. Also present at Monday’s presentation was the Prime Minister, Honourable Dr. Kenny Anthony who made the official presentation to Ms. Felicen, the Vice Principal of the Corinth Secondary School and her mother, Magdeline Felicien |
