NEW Year Programming in National Televisions Network NTN

Tuesday December 31, 2002: The National Television Network (NTN) will present two special programmes over New Year holidays.

The special broadcasts commence with the airing of the 2002 year in review at 8.00 p.m. on Tuesday December 31st 2002. This comprehensive review of government and national news during the past year has been produced by the staff of the Government Information Service. The year in review programme will also be broadcast on Daher Broadcasting Service at 8.00 p.m. on January 1st and on Helen Television System (HTS) at 7.00 p.m. on January 1st 2003.

The other special feature is the Ringbang Celebration 2002. This is a two-hour music special featuring top Caribbean performing artistes including, Eddy Grant and the Frontline Orchestra, Machel Montano and Xtatic, Calypso Rose, Black Stalin, Shadow, Gillo, Gabby and Superblue.

Part one of the Ringbang Celebration 2000 will be broadcast on January 01st at 9.00 p.m., and part two on January 02nd at 9.00p.m. 2003. The concert featuring the array of Caribbean artistes was held in Tobago on January 31st 1999, and the music special was produced by New Media Ltd,

In addition to these special programmes, the public can tune to NTN for regular information and educational programmes and public service announcements.
