Musicsym.wmf (1776 bytes)March 29, 1999- As the Ministry of Community Development enters the second phase of its Comfort 2000 initiative, the constituency of Castries Central has released a CD under the theme "We Need Each Other" as well as a video entitled "A Twist In Time"

The pieces were released over the weekend at the Caribbees Hotel. According to Chairman of the Castries Central Constituency, Tedburt Theobalds the reasoning behind the two events is to enlighten people on events during the daily lives of the people of Castries. He says through the two undertakings it has been manifested the wealth of talent which abounds within that constituency. The music was composed by Ronald Boo Hinkson and performed by Marcel Demille and Mervin Stuart.

The live short action film – "A Twist In Time" was shot in Castries central over three days in February and features George Alphonse, Leslie Nelson, Evy Mondesir, Joachim Clauzel, Yvette Regis, Bradley Felix, David Mc Lennon, Juliana Prospere, Darnell Jn Charles, Brent Edward, Randolph Raveneau and Anthea Octave.

"A Twist In Time will be shown on local television stations on Easter Sunday, dependent upon sponsorship from business houses.

Comfort 2000 came on board as a means of fostering greater community participation in projects aimed at enhancing the lives of all residents. Last year the Choiseul community was awarded the Prime Minister’s Trophy for the cleaning and beautification of the Sab Wishi Beach.
