June 4, 1998 - The Castries City Council says the issue of stray dogs roaming the city streets is to be brought under control once and for all. The Council has obtained the services of a dog catcher for the purpose of ridding the city of the lost or unwanted animals. A shelter for the stray dogs has also been located, whereby owners can claim their dogs if they so desire. If not officials would have no other choice than "to put them to sleep."
