Mandela Will Come

May 26, 1998 - A high level delegation from the South African Consulate based in Venezuela, ended a preliminary visit to the island on the weekend.

The delegation's visit led by the Council General, comes on the heels of St. Lucia's hosting of the 19th CARICOM Heads of Government Summit, which coincides with the 25th Anniversary of the Caribbean Community, at which Nelson Mandela is expected to be present.
