CES Extends a Hand to Malgretoute

June 25, 1998 - The Malgretoute Home in Soufriere is to be the recipient of a donation via the business firm Computer and Electrical Services. Later this week the company will donate a Maytag Washer and Dryer to officials of the Home.

"We were of the opinion that this institution had been neglected over the years," says Managing Director of CES, Gordad Darcheville. "The old soldiers who had worked so hard in St. Lucia have been allowed to languish, living in sub-human conditions. I just thought it would be a good gesture to assist them by way of giving them the washing machine and dryer."

The company will also present a computer to the National Disaster Preparedness Office.
