The St. Lucia Co-operative League Extend Condolences to Sir John's Family

The St. Lucia Co-operative League and its entire constituent membership extend sincere condolences to the family of the late Sir John George Melvin Compton.

Profound sentiments  of sympathy is also extended to the Government and people of St. Lucia over the loss of our Prime Minister and pray for God’s guidance in leading our country through such challenging times.

We recognize the sterling contribution that Sir John, the Father of the Nation has made in facilitating the development of the country and the Co-operative Sector. We shall never stop celebrating his life as the development we enjoy was born out of an appreciation and vision for social and economic empowerment through collective participation.

Sir John will be missed but never forgotten as the co-operative sector breathe the visionary breath of the birth of a great man, we live the life of the realism of a visionary  and dream the life of a promising future built on a strong foundation.

May he enjoy eternal rest.
