Friday, January 05, 2001 - Prime Minister, Honourable Dr. Kenny D. Anthony will deliver his traditional New Year’s Message on Monday, January 8, 2001.  The message will be broadcast at     8 8:00 p.m. on local radio and television stations.

Usually, the Prime Minister’s New Year’s message is delivered on the first working day of the new year.  However, the attack on the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on the eve of the new year forced a postponement of the delivery of the address.

The Prime Minister’s New Year’s message is expected to look back on the successes and challenges of the past year and look forward to the year ahead.
