Welcome to Government of Saint Lucia's official portal on the Internet. Our intention is to be your first resource to find any government information on the web. We hope that your experiencing will be interactive and welcome suggestions so that we can provide the most satisfying service for you.

Finding the Information You Want

There are several way to find your way around our site.

Navigation Menus - All the information you want is usually a click away. The navigation menus at the top and bottom allow instant access to top level and parent pages. The navigation bar on the left links to the main sections highlighted on our site.  

Clicking on home or the coat of arms at the top left will take you back to the Government of Saint Lucia Homepage.

Up - clicking on up takes you back to the source or parent page of the one you are currently on. "Up" is not available on Top Level and some Parent pages.

Next - clicking on "next" takes you to the next page in a series of pages on the same level or subtopic . "Next" is not available on the last page of the series.

Back - clicking on "back" takes you to the previous page in a series of pages on the same level or subtopic . "Back" is not available on the first page of the series.

Search - To use the search page, type in a keyword or phrase and the search engine will search our web site for all documents containing matching words or patterns. Use specific terms. Avoid using common terms like "government," "bananas," or "Saint Lucia." Using specific keywords and phrases will make the search results more relevant. (Example: "Government grants concessions to local manufactures" or "Government concessions local manufactures")

Site Map - This provides a hierarchical listing of all the pages that can be found on our website. Please note that we have archived everything that we have published on this site since we started in July 1997, over time we have accumulated substantial repository, as a result it may take some time for the site map to download.

Feedback - We like to hear from you. If you would like to make a comment or ask a question then click on the feedback link.

Technical Tips - Our site is designed to work with the widest possible range of browsers. However we do recommend that you use the most recent version of Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator, via a reasonable connection (28.8bps dial-up or better. Please refresh your browser every time you visit to ensure that you are viewing the most up-to-date material.

For a more enhanced web experience we recommend the following:

Monitor Size and Screen resolution - Our website is optimised for a 14-inch or larger monitor. We recommend setting you screen resolution to 800x600 pixels and using 16-bit or greater colour resolution. If you use a lower resolution images will still appear but may appear grainy.

RealPlayer - You can listen and watch streaming media available in certain sections of our website. Click here to download the free player.

Adobe Acrobat Reader - Forms, Green Papers, White Papers, Reports and other documents you may want to print are saved in Portable Document Format. This allows the document to retain its formatting and be easily printed. To view and print these documents you will need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. Click here to download the free reader.
