STAKEHOLDERS MEET TO FRAME 2012 2013 ESTIMATES

Tuesday March 13, 2012 - Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Honourable Dr. Kenny D. Anthony, has invited the Saint Lucia Bankers Association and the Saint Lucia Bar Association to a Stakeholders Policy Meeting to discuss certain policy initiatives of the Government aimed at generating growth and employment in the economy for the 2012/2013 Budget cycle.
The meetings, scheduled for March 15th, 2012, will explore, among other issues, the financing of house construction and access to bank loans.
The meetings will be chaired by Prime Minister, Dr. Kenny D. Anthony and will be attended by members of the Budget Committee.
Over the past three weeks, Prime Minister has held a series of consultations with policy makers and stakeholders in both the public and private sectors in preparation for the 2012/2013 Budget. |
