On Thursday, March 29, 2012 - His Excellency the Most Reverend Archbishop Nicola Girasoli, Apostolic Nuncio-designate of the Holy See to Saint Lucia, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Kenny D. Anthony.
At this first meeting, His Excellency reaffirmed the commitment of the Holy See to maintaining and strengthening relations with Saint Lucia.
His Excellency has been in the diplomatic service of the Holy See since 10 May 1985. He has served in the papal representations in Indonesia, Australia as well as the general affairs of the Secretariat of the state in the Vatican. His most recent assignment as Head of Mission was in Malawi.
His Excellency was accompanied by His Grace the Most Reverend Robert Rivas, Archbishop of Saint Lucia.
