As of 3 June 2009, 66 countries have officially reported 19,273 cases of influenza A(H1N1) infection, including 117 deaths.
** Bahamas – 1 case | Barbados – 1 case | Bermuda – 1 case | Cuba – 4 cases | Dominican Republic – 11 cases | Jamaica – 2 cases | Puerto Rico - 6 cases | Trinidad – 1 case WHO is not recommending travel restrictions related to the outbreak of the influenza A(H1N1) virus.
Individuals who are ill should delay travel plans and returning travellers who fall ill should seek appropriate medical care. These recommendations are prudent measures which can limit the spread of many communicable diseases, including influenza. |
