Portraits of the Governor-General and the Prime Minister may be appropriately
displayed in court rooms, public buildings, schools, etc. It is customary for
the portrait of the Governor-General to be placed on the left as seen by the
spectator and that of the Prime Minister on the right, at the same level.
It is also appropriate for portraits of the Governor General and Prime
Minister, with or without spouses, to be displayed in public buildings where
so desired.
