The Public is
informed that domestic postage rates will be increased effective 1st February,
2005 as follows:
Letters and Post Cards
The prepaid rate of postage on letters not exceeding one ounce in weight - 30c
For every additional ounce or fraction of an ounce - 20c
The prepaid rate of postage on Postcards shall be - 20c
Book Packets and Printed papers
The prepaid rate of postage on Book Packets Not exceeding two ounces in weight -
25c
For every additional two ounces or fraction of two ounces - 15c
The prepaid rate of postage on Postcards shall be - $1.50c
Small Packets
The prepaid rates of postage on pattern and sample packets Not exceeding two
ounces in weight - 25c
For every additional ounce or fraction of two ounces - 15c
Literature for the blind No charge
Parcels
The rates of postage to be charged on parcels shall be as follows:
Parcels not exceeding one pound - $1.50
Every additional one pound or fraction of one pound - 60c
Parcels of books transmitted within Saint Lucia by post to the Chief Librarian
of the Saint Lucia Central Library, to or
from subscribers, the following reduced rates of postage shall be payable:
Not exceeding 3 pounds in weight - 50c
For every additional one pound over and above 3 Pounds and not exceeding 30
pounds - 30c
