Monday, August 17, 2009 –  Member countries of the International Labour Organisation the ILO today (Tuesday August 17th 2009) begins a four day workshop on Report Writing in an effort to enhance the quality of their report obligations.

The workshop seeks to provide participants with information on the ILO’s supervisory mechanisms and concrete advice on how to fulfil their reporting obligations.

The workshop will be delivered as a mixture of presentations on specific subjects and practical exercises on report writing.  Participants will be from OECS countries, three (3) of whom will be representing Saint Lucia.

In addition to the objectives of the workshop it is envisioned that Saint Lucia’s hosting of the ILO Workshop on Report Writing will help to strengthen its relationship with the ILO.

The August 18th - 21st is being hosted by Saint Lucia's  Ministry of Labour, Information and Broadcasting in conjunction with the International Labour Organization (ILO) Sub-regional Office.
