Monday, October 30, 2006 -- Prime Minister, Dr. Kenny D. Anthony has agreed to a request by the Private Sector Council of St. Lucia to reschedule the retreat to review the Draft Labour Code. The retreat was initially scheduled for 2nd, 3rd and 4th November, 2006. The retreat will now be advanced to October 31, November 1st and 2nd, 2006.

The Private Sector Council explained that the original “timing of the retreat [was] inconvenient to their Legal Advisor”.

The Private Sector Council comprises the St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, the St. Lucia Industrial and Small Business Association, the St. Lucia Manufacturers Association and the St. Lucia Hotels and Tourism Association.

The retreat will be held at the Conference Room of the National Insurance Corporation and will commence at 9:30 a.m.
