Wednesday, March 15, 2006 – As a member of the National Emergency Management Organisation [NEMO], the Saint Lucia Cadet Corps’ mandate is to be prepared to respond to any disaster event and to execute any role that may be required to stabilize the situation. To achieve this, the Cadet Corps has embarked on a strengthening of the institution and one of the ways to achieve the mandate is through training.

As part of the preparations for Cricket World Cup in 2007 the Cadet Corps shall participate with fellow members of NEMO in the Emergency Care and Treatment [ECAT]

The training is scheduled to take place at the Beausejour Cricket Ground from March 13 - 17, 2006.
