Thursday, May 19, 2005 – Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Hon.
Dr. Kenny D. Anthony, accompanied by Director of Finance Isaac Anthony, are
currently in Guyana attending the Annual General Meeting of the Caribbean
Development Bank – CDB. The gathering of ministers for finance from throughout
the region, will review the operations of the CDB and the bank’s relations with
Haiti, among other pertinent matters.
The finance ministers will also consider the construction of a road map that
will chart the way forward for the CDB, on the threshold of the establishment of
the Caribbean Single Market & Economy.
