Friday, May 21, 2004 - Prime Minister, Hon. Dr. Kenny Anthony, who has responsibility for Information and Broadcasting will be holding talks with Caribbean Broadcasting Union (CBU) Secretary General, Patrick Cozier and President Vic Fernandes, when they visit St. Lucia on Thursday May 27th, 2004.

According to Mr. Cozier, the purpose of the one-day visit is to meet with CBU members and industry partners on CBU related issues and any media development issues in St. Lucia, and to present Prime Minister Anthony with copies of two studies, "The Caribbean Code of Ethics" and "Caribbean Integration: A media and Communications Plan in Support of the CCJ and CSME".

CBU President Vic Fernandes stressed the importance of these two studies in the context of the development of the region, and said he looked forward to both studies being adopted by the Industry and CARICOM Governments, respectively.
