Thursday, July 08, 2004 – Announcement of the award of matches for
Cricket World Cup 2007 is to be carried live on the Government’s National
Television Network (NTN), on Tuesday, July 13, at 8:00 p.m., and is expected to
last for 1 hour and 15 minutes. The live broadcast
of the announcement will be followed by a live panel discussion, including
Government and sports officials.
Other local electronic media, including television and radio stations are also
expected to carry the announcement and subsequent panel discussion live.
The announcement of the award of matches is to take place at the Ritz Carlton
Hotel in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
The programme is expected to start with a reception at 5:30 p.m. and delegates
should be seated in the ballroom at approximately 6:45p.m.
The ceremony officially begins at 8:00pm and is to be televised live by
Caribbean Media Corporation (CMC). The Ceremony is scheduled to end at 9:15p.m.,
but a post-ceremony reception will continue until 9:30p.m.
