Arthur has written to Dr. Kenny D. Anthony, Prime Minister of St. Lucia to
congratulate the island on the occasion of its 25th Anniversary of Independence.
In a letter to Dr. Anthony, he said, “I am happy to extend warmest wishes and
heartiest congratulations to your Government and the people of St. Lucia as you
celebrate the 25th Anniversary of your country’s Independence. I look forward to
continue working closely with you within the framework of the Caribbean
Community and the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States, and to see the
further strengthening of the good bilateral relations which currently exist
between out two countries. On behalf of the Government and people of Barbados,
please accept our best wishes and congratulations on your country’s
achievement”.
