Wednesday, December 1, 2004 - Xavier Martial Arts Academy is determined to bring the entire Martial Arts community together to ensure that the discipline maintains prominence in St. Lucia, through an international Karate tournament and seminar to be held in April, 2005.

President of the Xavier Martial Arts Academy, Benny Chitolie said there was need to sensitise the public about the benefits of Martial Arts to their well being: “Our job for that tournament is to uplift the level of Martial Arts, get the participation level going, get people involved, organise various programmes. People could realise this is something they need to do; this is someplace I need to go. The kids can develop themselves in terms of their moral values, in terms of crime and violence, in terms of discipline, change all those things around and put everything back how it used to be. We had a perfect society before, and I think Martial Arts could change that and bring that back how it used to be”.

The Xavier Martial Arts Academy is affiliated to the World Blackbelt Incorporated, an organisation founded by renowned Martial Artist, Chuck Norris and the International Martial Arts Council of America.
