January 6, 1999 - Minister of Legal Affairs, Home Affairs and Labour, Hon. Velon John, has pledged to use the all necessary and relevant resources at his disposal to lessen criminal activity on the island.  However, the Minister reiterated that the input of members of the public is essential, if criminals are to apprehended.

In this regard, the Ministry of Legal Affairs has established an Action Line. The Action Line provides members of the public with access to Telephone number 458 - 2880. This number can be reached at any time by members of the public who wish to provide classified information on criminals and their activities.

Only the Minister has access to the information given on this phone line. No one is requested to live his/her name.  All information will be treated confidentially.
