UK and Europe will continue to buy Bananas

September 16, 1997 - St. Lucia has been given the reassurance that once banana farmers can produce good quality fruit, the UK and Europe markets will continue to buy the fruit. This is one of the things discussed when government officials met in Dominica last week.

In light of this Minister for Agriculture, Hon. Cass Elias, is urging farmers to do their best to produce the quality of fruit which consumers demand.
