Welcome!

By visiting this page you have taken the first of many steps that will ensure that you have a safe and secure Event -- and there are many.

The Laws of Saint Lucia provide the guide for you and the support agencies to follow. Agencies that you have every right to expect support from; but if you don't tell them of your Event how can they help you? And they want to help you!!

In the next section you will find some of the forms needed to apply for the support you will need. In other cases you will need to write a letter requesting assistance. Remember notifying an agency is only the first step -- you MUST then find out if you either have their support or their permission.

The Mass Crowd Events Guide will give you all the information you need for a safe and successful event, e.g.:

  • Pg 29 - Seating arrangements
  • Pg 30 - Toilet arrangements
  • Pg 31 - Medical Stations
  • Pg 32 - Parking arrangements
  • pg 34 - Arrangements for Disabled

The list below is just part of the program.

In November 2008 the Commissioner of Police declared a new policy for the Police Force that ANY event attempting to take place without Security would be stopped. The Solid Waste Management Authority can fine you up to EC$15,000.00 for failing to clean up after yourself and the Labour Commissioner can have your foreign workers arrested if they are working in Saint Lucia without a work permit or a CARICOM Single Market [CSM] Certificate... and these are just a few examples!
